Poem on me..

The below poem was written on me by one of my very close friend,

So cheerful.. that she won't stop smiling..
Pure at heart.. like a little baby laughing,..
Answering all questions during the quizzing...
Majoring in Mail Sending and Forwarding...

Simply charming, sweet and smiling
Rocking, caring.. and a little more smiling
Allu Arjun fan, at 100 RPM rotating,
Very rambo fellow, but something missing...
Asalu ippudu start ayindhi sravs blushing..
Nothing else doing, blushing and laughing..
Then what is it that is still missing??
Homely feeling is what is missing..
Ippudu sravs saying NOOOOOOO and a lot more laughing..

Sravanthi, here's wishing you all the happiness in the new year of your life..
Keep smiling and have fun!!!!

P.S.- If you are wondering what this is - it is supposed to be a HAPPY BIRTHDAY mail.. so...

  HAPPY BUDDAY SRAVS!!!!

Poetic Resignation

The name is good, the brand is big
But the work I do is that of a pig

The work or the brand; what is my way?

I don't know if I should stay.

To work, they have set their own way

Nobody will care to hear what I say

My will be NULL, they wont change their way

I don't know if I should stay.

The project is in a critical stage

But to do good work, this is the age

This dilemma is killing me day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The money is good, the place is great

But the development is at a very small rate

Should I go for the work, or wait for pay

I don't know if I should stay!

The managers don't know what they talk

The team doesn't know where they walk

That's a bad situation, what say?

I don't know if I should stay.

I can go to any other place

But what if I get the same disgrace

I can't keep switching day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The -ves are more, the +ves are less

Then why have this unnecessary mess

No more will I walk their way,

It's all done, I won't stay.

Thanks & Regards

Visit to YGT and Surendrapuri

On the eve of new year , my husband and myself visited to the sacred place Yadagiri Gutta (Sri Laxmi Narashima Swamy Temple) and Surendrapuri, the mythological musuem

The Temple had heavy rush due to new year combined with Long weekend, the taste of laddu there was as usual Awesome, but i feel the pulihora is sometimes not meeting the standards and quantity does not really seem to be 200gms

There was only one Shegradarshanam ticket earlier which costed 25/-, now few more are introduced : 100, 150, 316

On the way back to Hyderabad, we stopped at Surendrapuri, the cost for one ticket was 250/- rupees.
PTR : No cameras, cellphones, handy cams, outside food allowed
In case you need any food , You have to buy food items strictly within the museum where you are charged 2-10 extra on mrp :)

The place was good but 250/- is a little high...
It was nice to know and see all the gods at one place, few scenes like the mahabharata battle, vaikuntam, yamalokam were very fascinating

Its a must see place for kids, a good way for them to know and learn about our gods and stories behind their avatar's.

When we were kids, our parents narrated us the stories of epics but i don't think we would be able to explain the same to our kids (at least myself coz i don't remember most of them now).. Thanks to Surendrapuri for showing most of the major scenes from Ramayanam, Mahabharatam and other major epics but i am sure the count of people visiting would be more if the cost is a little less

My Experiences with .......... Green Tea

One of my colleagues here at Open Text has a lot of green tea every day (5-6 cups) and upon inquiring if she likes it that much..she just gave me jist of benefits having Green Tea
-It helps in reducing weight
-you get charm and glow on your face
-You loose extra fat accumulated
-It helps in reducing tummy
-People having green tea are less prone to cancer, diabetes (or any other disease)

and i don't remember few more

She was able to reduce her weight to a little extent in 3 months with green tea
So i thought if she could reduce XYZ weight in 3months having 4-5 cups why not me??
"I will also have 2 cups each day and reduce XY gms of weight" i thought to my self.... today i got my first cup of hot water(95degress hot) and dipped in the green tea bag in it until the water turned to Orangish-Green color

Removed the bag from the cup , the cup was very hot...bought the cup near ..... it smelled as if i mixed henna (Mehendi) powder in hot water..ignored the smell and i took the first sip and it was like
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
YAKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Oh my god!!! ..... its so bitter, sour...i dont know how to describe the taste....

I asked her "Asalu ella taguthav dinni" ......
she replied "sugar kalupukoni"

i did not add the sugar :(:( but i am sure even after adding sugar it would not taste that good...

Hats off the all the people who drink Green Tea... U people rock!!

Who is Serving Whom??

The characters described in this post are all real , true and not fictitious. well any resemblance to any person living(and not dead) is intended

This post is not to hurt any one of the PS (public servants) but just to show case a few incidents that I witnessed and heard from my friends and relatives

One day I was rushing for the cab in the morning at 7.45am, I saw a vehicle came and stopped near a fruits stall, a guy dressed in brown color apparel (tan color??) got down from the vehicle, went to the shop keeper (who was lying asleep in front of the shop with a smile on his face…may be he was dancing with deepika padukone in dreams i guess :P) and asked him some questions for which the shop keeper gave some answers... the PS was not at all satisfied by the answers.. the SK(shop keeper) gave some money with a irritating face, the PS then asked for a cover(upon giving a small one he said “are woh bada wala packet dena”)

Filled in the packet with whole lot of apples(until the cover could not handle the weight....), the PS then demanded for another cover , filled in some more sapotas (i don’t really know what is it called in English ;))... and continued asking some more questions for which the SK said..... “subhe subhe kaiko dimag karab karte saab, aab chalo ne girak ane ka time hai” the PS then gave a smile and left

Mean while my cab came and I got in and this scene was the “Topic for discussion” in the cab..I narrated the whole scene to my cab mates, they started telling their experiences

One of my cab mate's friend used to run a hotel business, every day morning, afternoon, evening and in the night , the so called PS used to come and eat the respective special items of the day...one fine day the person ran into heavy losses as the number of PS where more than the number of customers :(..

One other cab mate's uncle is a builder in vizag.. he owns a gated community in which there are around 300 flats and guess what !!! the whole of B block which consists of 50flats are given are GIFTS apart from money!!!(oh common don't ask to whom...you should know it by now) . why only B block?? Does that mean Beggar’s block. Sorry no offense meant.

One more incident which happened with my relatives, they needed a permission from some government officer in some department so they approached the chief person of the department and got it done by giving some gifts
later 10 people from the same office came in and started doing some inspection...everything was as per rule and PERFECT!!!
Then they asked directly....without even shame... “enti peda sir ki iste saripothunda?? memanta waste gallama, bakwasgallama?? memella brathakali?? maku edho okati ichi pampinchandi sir?? ledante evarini gelakalo valani gelukutham .... maku rules lo una flaws ani thelusu.”....(sorry for non-telugu readers, wanted to maintain the originality of the scene and hence used the same words!!). I recorded the whole in my cell phone but my uncle asked to delete that as I would invite new problems...

In society, people working in software are assumed to be highly paid/earning people ... but the fact is ….these PS are highly(in fact very highly earning) people
we take salary on 1st and start distributing and hardly any amount remains by last week of the month , they take salary on 1st ,start collecting and it goes on and on…

Well there are many such incidents that are happening day in and day out..... in front of our eyes , we the educated youth can't just do anything apart from seeing everything like a movie....

Are they serving us or Are we serving them??

Little amount of corruption is there everywhere but literally the blood of public is served as gifts to them…..

PS……..Please wake up!!....Please be Human!!!

Hello World

Hello world...............(that was the first program i wrote in all the programming languages that i have learned in college)

I was actually postponing the idea of blogging to the world since a very long time now and hope i don't end up with just this post ;)

Well coming to my profile, i completed B.SC computers and information sciences from OUCW and MCA (correspondence) from OU

worked for cognizant for 4.2yrs and now working for Open Text as Advanced software engineer(Yeah advanced s/w engr, you have to believe it!!! :) )

My hobbies include : i think nothing for now
i used to play basket ball in school, used to participate in NCC and NSS when i was in college, used to play and organize a lot of games and events, participate in Corporate Social responsible activities, handle sessions to the new comers and blah blah when i was with cognizant
As of now , i am doing nothing and not even thinking of doing something :P

But there is all time hobby of mine: observing people around( i get screen shots of their caricatures), As Shakespeare said the world is a cinema and we are all playing the roles... i see a lot of people are unnecessarily making there lives complex for simple issue(may be i am one among them)

Few months back i got married to a very nice person "Guru Prasad", and we are now living a happy life ....

Thanks to my few of friends and also to cognizant for introducing me to this blogger's world and thanks to Channel one blogs...

well when i blogged within cognizant i used to get a lot of wah points , i don't get them here but if my blogs can bring small curves to your straight lips that's more than enough (wah wah...wat a statement, isn't it?? )

To all the readers out there : welcome to my world!!!
